The British Independent Reinforcement Fabricators Association (BIRFA) represents independent reinforcement steel fabricators supplying the UK construction industry.
Established in 2015, BIRFA provides a strong, independent voice for the sector – representing the interests of fabricators who are not owned by, or tied to, individual steel producers. Our members play an important role in maintaining a competitive, resilient and high-quality reinforcement supply chain across the UK.
Working alongside industry bodies including CARES and BSI, BIRFA supports the development of standards, promotes best practice and helps ensure the views and requirements of independent reinforcement fabricators are represented.
Through collaboration, industry knowledge and a shared commitment to quality, BIRFA works to strengthen confidence in reinforcement and support the long-term needs of the UK construction industry.
