Reinforcing Industry Confidence

BIRFA was formed on 17th September 2015 to recognise the contribution
that the Independent reinforcement steel fabricators have on the
reinforced concrete sector within the construction industry.

WHAT IS BIRFA?

The Association intends to provide the industry with a focal point for reinforcement without the influence of steel producers and importers which will truly reflect the requirements of the reinforced concrete industry, specifically for the benefits of all reinforcement fabricators and contractors.

WHY BIRFA EXISTS?

BIRFA aims to support the reinforcing steel industry within the UK and also the needs, activities and ambitions of its members and contractors by working with UK CARES and BSI.
